The Capo Debate
Some players call the capo a cheat. Others say it’s just a tool. And then there’s the middle ground: it’s both. What’s your take?

It matters because this isn’t just about gear, it’s about tone, voicing, convenience, and how you think about the fretboard.

Team It’s a cheat, It’s a tool, or It’s both? Why?

Mini-Challenge: Set a slow BPM and test both approaches.

It's a tool. Playing the guitar is about making music. Sooner the better. A capo makes that happen. Never leave home without one. Somebody may want to play a song you know in a different key!

The capo is a tool for doing different keys with easier chords. That's why it's a tool. Also you can do different scales the same way and not risk your fingers as much with the capo.

Pick vs Fingers again - Yeah, we’re doing it. 🤝🥊
What’s your default attack? Pick or Fingers.

Why it matters: your “default” shapes your tone, timing, and even your phrasing habits.

Team Pick or Team Fingers? Tell the community why, and what style made you choose it.

Mini-Challenge: Set a slow BPM and test both approaches.
